I decided to re-vamp my makeup bag and update it with some key pieces for summer. As it’s summer now, I decided to treat myself to some new pieces that are sure to be loved all season long! I’m so excited to try everything, and I will definitely report back with any new favourites I find.

Every now and then you need to inject some life back into your makeup bag and try some new products. I have been trying quite a few things lately, so I thought I would share with you all what I have been trialing and loving.

I love wearing a lighter base as I find that suits my skin the most. I also love it when you can see your naturally beautiful bits such as your freckles. The Vichy IDealia BB Cream sounded perfect for me, and it promises to illuminate the skin and make everything look dewy. For my skin type as well, BB creams work so well because they are really hydrating and never make my skin look dull.

I think that you can never have enough bronzers, and this Michael Kors Bronze Powder in Glow looks especially stunning – the packaging is so luxurious and the powder looks really natural on the skin.

For skincare, I picked up two new bits to try. The REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial is perfect for me because it gets to work really quickly and helps to brighten the skin in just one minute. I never seem to have the time to indulge in a proper relaxing pamper session, so this seemed like the dream.

I also picked up the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, which is a bit of a cult product. It smells so delicious and really helps to freshen up my skin and leave my complexion looking amazing.

Everyone needs a new perfume every now and then… I love the DKNY Delicious Dreamsicle because it smells so fresh. It has notes of green apple in it as well as a base of vanilla and sandalwood which makes it smell divine.

Lastly, I am trying a new shampoo and conditioner from Living Proof in the Restore range. Jennifer Aniston has often spoken about her love for the brand and she’s known for her amazing hair. The Restore Shampoo and Conditioner are meant to work together to repair any existing damage as well as preventing any further.
